Sense of Fun/Play
Commit to fantastic experiences. Everyone we interact with should know immediately that we’re not just another IT department; this includes each other. Figure out what fantastic means to you and be deliberate about living that.
- Give & take
Empathy first. Intentionally make time to interact directly with our clients and coworkers. It’s amazing how far empathy brings you closer to understanding. Go out of your way to close the empathy gap.
- Share your knowledge
- Sense of family
- Team & clients
- Caring for each other
Choose humility. Humility is intelligent self-respect. We can’t build a team if we’re selfish and focused on accomplishments, self-righteousness, or pride over learning. Prioritize the wisdom of learning from a situation over acting from a position of the ego.
- Open to other’s opinions
- Safe to make mistakes
- Transparency - We might not know the whole or even correct answer but will share what we do know.
