What is Employee Portal?

This is the access point for employees to get into the cloud based system to use the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) which includes Payroll and the Financial Information System (FIS) modules.

The system was originally known as UBW or ERP and is now officially the Employee Portal.

How do I access Employee Portal?

Employee Portal can be accessed on or off campus. Log in using your VIU username (e.g. doej) and password.

NOTE: The Employee Portal is only available to people when all of the following conditions are true:

  • Employee has an active computer account
  • Employee is actively employed by VIU (has an appointment that is current)
  • Employee has changed their password from the default
